We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patient comfort during their visits.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients. Perform medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring accurate results. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with dentists. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice. Provide support during dental procedures as needed, utilising CAD technology when applicable.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
