Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Perform medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring high-quality results. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in electronic health records. Assist dentists during procedures, providing necessary support and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygiene licence and relevant qualifications. ( Must have GDC for Hygienist ) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
