We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person with excellent organisational and administration skills to work as a Democratic Services officer within the Democratic Services Team.

About the role
We are looking for a self-starter who is adaptable and details-focused in their approach to a range of administrative duties including co-ordinating and servicing committee meetings, working closely with Councillors and Senior Officers, and preparing and publishing agendas, reports and minutes. Experience of report management systems (mod.gov) is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
We are a friendly and supportive Team, working in a fascinating and challenging political environment at the heart of the Council\'s decision making.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
