Duties
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including cooking, plating, and garnishing.
Participate in stock management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
Follow instructions from the head chef and other senior kitchen staff, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Assist in training new kitchen staff as required, fostering a positive learning environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential; a strong interest in culinary arts is highly valued.
