County Textile Services is a growing, well-established local business employing local people and will be celebrating it's 25th year anniversary in 2025.
We are proud to be one of the leading commercial/domestic laundries in Oxfordshire, offering a wide range of services for both business and home including laundry, dry cleaning, wholesale textiles and soft furnishings.
We have a vacancy for a Delivery/Collection Driver/Production Operative to join our team:
Permanent full-time roles available
Full training and supported development
This role involves the delivery and collection of laundry to our clients, loading and unloading the van manually, which will therefore involves heavy lifting.
A good level of physical fitness is essential, along with having a polite, friendly and professional manner whilst representing the company
You should be based within 10 miles of the Witney area
You must hold a Full UK Driving licence, for a minimum of 1 year with a maximum of 6 points
Previous van driving experience essential
A practical driving assessment will form the second part of the interview process
Geographical knowledge of Oxford and areas local to Witney preferable
Company Uniform will be supplied
Because we deliver to schools and colleges the successful applicant/s will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
The post holder will also assist the production team on occasions which will involve all aspects of laundry work including sorting, washing, drying & packing laundry
