Multi Drop Delivery Driver

We are seeking a self-employed multi drop delivery driver to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our delivery network, you will be responsible for transporting heavy freight to multiple destinations while upholding the high standards of reliability and customer service that define T.E.A Logistics.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery operations:

Safely and efficiently transport heavy freight to designated locations within the assigned route.

Manage and organise multiple drop-offs, adhering to a schedule to ensure timely deliveries.

Handle freight with care, ensuring the safety and security of each shipment.

2. Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour during deliveries.

Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive delivery experience.

3. Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure that the delivery vehicle is in optimal condition.

Report any maintenance issues promptly to facilitate timely repairs.

4. Documentation:

Complete accurate and detailed delivery documentation for each drop, including obtaining necessary signatures and confirming receipt of freight.

Liaising with area managers through our group chat updating them on your progress through the day.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, preferably handling heavy freight.

Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.

Ability to handle heavy freight and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.

Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently.
