Delivery Transformation Manager

As a Barclays Delivery Transformation Manager, you will form part of the Channels Engineering CIO. delivering strategic change for the majority of business areas, driving new business and improved customer experience across all Barclays products. Supporting the Delivery Transformation Leads strategy, change and transformation within the Channel team to improve the effectiveness and performance and close collaboration with all resources within a Feature Team which range from Analysis to Release.

What will you be doing?

• Taking ownership of tasks assigned and lead these with minimum supervision through to completion
• Assessing the task assigned, develop an approach to tackle the task managing risks / dependencies affecting the successful delivery
• Using fact based (data analysis skillset) to understand the as-is of the topic and develop recommendations (to-be) on how to improve the team\xe2\x80\x99s ways of working
• Developing benefit cases where appropriate to inform decision making on new ideas / innovations for transforming
• Communicating and influencing key stakeholders and leadership on transformative ways by sharing findings, recommendations and implementing these
• Championing and embed continuous improvement mindset
• Ensuring the delivery and presentation of work is to appropriate levels of quality, on time and in accordance with the approach / associated timelines
• Working with other Transformation colleagues and the teams themselves to achieve a more efficient delivery

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Experience in process reengineering, data analytics, automation and improving ways of working
• Solid experience in reporting key metrics to leadership
• Understanding of the principles of waterfall and Agile delivery methods
• Proven strong analytical and problem solving mind set with the ability and willingness to get into the details to find solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

• JIRA and confluence experience
• Previous experience working in project delivery
• Prior knowledge of the Barclays Group

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
