The Delivery Lead Group Manager will manage multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry is required, and n understanding of direct competitors' products and services is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. You will a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, with some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.


The successful candidate will have full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Typically, this level will be a direct report to a Managing Director and function as an intergral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business.



Responsibilities:



Manages the testing functional area and carries responsibility for the Testing Group. They impact the business by exercising control over sizeable resources budget, policy formulation and planning and by significant contribution to the future strategy of applications support. Determines approach to implementing Testing strategy. Responsible for executing Testing strategy in area managed. Structures the team to ensure greatest impact, efficient use of resource and alignment to business structures as possible. Sets a clear vision for the team around roles and responsibilities. Management responsibility for a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Ensures that IT organization is defining and implementing its Testing and Control plans to meet business strategy and goals. Involved with a variety of broad based and complex issues that require complex judgments based on sophisticated analytical thought. Drives innovative testing strategies that support technological changes. Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own are and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. Requires in-depth knowledge of how the IT function integrates within the overall organization and of direct competitors' products and services. Impacts IT testing through planning, finances/budget, end results and setting policies. Requires developed communication skills to negotiate with others at a senior level. Requires communication with external parties. Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:



Relevant previous experience as a Senior Delivery Lead, and having managed complex transformation programmes Financial Service industry experience Senior level experience in a technical environment, leading engineering teams and ultimately driving the client experience People management, leadership and development skills. Stakeholder management Project management Advanced communication skills, up to and including senior management An expert and creative problem solver Comfortable operating in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment Specific software languages will be dependent of area of business Resilient, able to adapt to change and implement changes rapidly; always seeking continuous innovation and improvement. Exceptional ability to rank strategic and operational choices

Education:



Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred but not essential
