About The Yorkshire Tile Company

The Yorkshire Tile Company is a family run independent business selling tiles and everything you would need for tiling project. With three retail stores across Yorkshire and the North East we pride ourselves on our customer service and industry knowledge.

The Role

This is a varied role that will see the successful candidate both driving and working in our Doncaster warehouse which is attached to our retail store.

Deliveries will be of our tiles and complimentary products to the general public, distribution customers and to the other Yorkshire Tile Company stores. Deliveries will typically be across Yorkshire and the surrounding area.

Before deliveries, and once they're complete the successful candidate will be working in the warehouse as part of a team undertaking a variety of tasks from putting away deliveries, picking customer orders, preparing the transfers for the next day.

A forklift counterbalance and reach licence is preferable.

The main vehicle the successful candidate will be driving will be a transit van.

Job Requirements

A UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points on said license

Forklift counterbalance and reach license preferred

A fit individual - tiles are heavy!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
