Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery interaction, representing the company positively.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. A valid commercial driving licence is required for operating larger vehicles. Experience in driving vans or similar vehicles is beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
