Overview

As a Delivery Driver at Cornish Tea & Coffee, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You'll be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing deliveries, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. Working alongside our team, you'll help maintain the smooth running of our operations and support our growth.

Duties

Delivery:

Safely transport products to customers and clients within designated areas, ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Follow the most efficient routes to optimise time, fuel efficiency, and delivery accuracy.

Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Inventory Management:

Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring stock levels are correct and deliveries are completed as per the order details.

Safety & Maintenance:

Adhere to safety standards and road regulations, keeping the delivery vehicle in clean and working order.

Team Coordination:

Work closely with the office team and other departments to ensure all deliveries are scheduled and completed efficiently.

Paperwork:

Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately, including delivery receipts and any required reports.

Additional Support:

A willingness to provide assistance in other areas of the business as needed, offering flexibility and support to ensure smooth operations and efficiency across all departments.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A clean, valid UK driver's licence and previous delivery driving experience is desirable.

Organisational Skills:

Strong ability to manage delivery schedules, prioritise routes, and ensure timely deliveries.

Customer Service:

Friendly, approachable, and professional with strong communication skills.

Attention to Detail:

Careful handling of products to avoid damage and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift and carry goods safely, and drive for extended periods.

Passion:

A genuine enthusiasm for tea, coffee, and embracing the Cornish way of life!
