We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Drive delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any inquiries or concerns. Perform heavy lifting as needed when loading and unloading goods. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by ensuring that all items are stored correctly and efficiently. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including times, locations, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.

Requirements

Valid driving licence, experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The role is 51.5 hours per week between 6.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday's as overtime.
