Delegate Sales Manager - B2B Conferences

Fully remote based role (UK Based)

Base salary up to \xc2\xa330K + Commission

Jackson Barnes Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Delegate Sales Executive for this newly created Delegate Sales Manager position. This opportunity would suit a Delegate Sales Executive with 18-24 months of experience who is looking for a new job opportunity in a growing b2b events business.

What will you be doing?

Working as part of a small growing b2b conference and events business that has a friendly, supportive and ambitious culture. The Delegate Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing and confirming senior business professionals to attend high level business conferences that include digital & in-person and bespoke event formats. This is a fully remote based position that reports to one of the business founders. The role offers a real opportunity to grow and develop your event career.

• As a Delegate Sales Manager, you will be focused on building delegate attendance at senior level roundtable events.
• This role requires lots of research and direct phone & email communication with clients to promote and market the events.
• You will be working on several sales KPI\'s
• You will be responsible for organising and managing your time and work schedule
• An opportunity to develop the delegate systems and procedures
• Develop your knowledge and understanding of the key issues clients experience through meaningful conversations and how attending these events can support clients
• Develop your client network and market intelligence
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing international clients
• Identify and capitalise on new opportunities to generate revenue

The person

• Direct B2B Delegate Sales experience of at least 1 year is essential for this position.
• You will be bright, mature and able to manage the responsibilities the role provides
• Interested in joining a small growing events company
• Commercial awareness and motivated to achieve targets
• Excellent communication (written & spoken) skills; able to relate, connect and communicate information concisely and professionally
• Highly organised with excellent processes to manage your time successfully
• Self-motivated, determined and responsible
• Team player and able to work independently
• Ambitious and driven to drive your career forward and make the most of the opportunities available to you
• A positive and \'can do\' approach to work
