The Business School has a strong international reach. In research the School is undertaking important and impactful work to address critical societal, environmental and social challenges. In education, the School draws high quality students from across the globe and also delivers education internationally, with strong partnerships in China and playing a key role in the University\xe2\x80\x99s partnership with AFG College in Qatar with students studying a range of the School\xe2\x80\x99s degree programmes.

We are seeking a strong candidate to take responsibility for the academic leadership of the School, management of its finances and human resources and to lead the School\xe2\x80\x99s strategic development and continued growth.

Candidates must possess a PhD and be able to demonstrate an academic track record of international standing with an understanding of the relevance of multidisciplinary collaboration. Previous administrative or managerial experience, particularly with regard to financial accountability and the management of teams is essential as are excellent interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues, students and other parties.

Salary will be at the appropriate point for academic appointment negotiated according to qualifications and experience. A responsibility payment for headship applies over and above the academic salary.
