Dealer Manager Ag&Groundcare
We have a great opportunity in our Agricultural and Groundcare division for a Dealer Manager to develop and maintain a sales strategy to promote profitable sales of Kubota products by working with the Dealer network, to be located in and cover the South of the UK.
Here are the key elements of the role:
To develop and then deliver a sales and development plans.
To work with the dealers to ensure that all relevant staff are fully trained in the Kubota product line and are aware of all competitor product information, in order to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
To be responsible for Kubota shows and exhibitions within the territory.
To work with the dealers to plan demonstrations, shows, exhibitions, dealer days.
To participate and present in various meetings / initiatives.
To implement innovative marketing and sales planning initiatives.
To develop and implement strategies to motivate dealers/distributors.
Manage regional budgets.
To provide product advice and guidance to customers and dealers.
As part of diary management communicate weekly reports in a timely manner.
Manage and control dealer accounts to ensure appropriate trade and credit risk.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong previous experience working within the Turf / Ground care, and Agricultural industry.
Previous experience of gathering market analysis etc and then translating into Action Plans.
Experience of working within a dealer/distributor business model.
Extensive sales/business development experience.
Strong IT systems skills.
Be able to implement good change management strategies.
Will be able to demonstrate ability to manage issues to a successful conclusion using empathy, mutual respect and negotiation skills.
Will possess good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Be forward thinking to identify opportunities for growth and development.
A current driving license is required and ideally a valid passport as there will be extensive travel, mainly within the UK, but also outside of the UK.
