Role description:

Be the difference in a Y10 student's understanding of GCSE maths. You will be a dedicated

Secondary maths and science Tutor

who can work in-person with a Y10 student.

You will have solid in-person GCSE maths tutoring/teaching experience and be familiar with the national curriculum and relevant exam boards.

Experienced tutor required for maths (GCSE)

Daytime tutoring to take place in the student's home

Competitive hourly rate 25-30/hour

Tutoring to take place over the 2024-25 academic year.

Responsibilities of the tutor/s:

Build positive relationships and help the student to overcome barriers to learning Plan and deliver maths lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum Implement teaching and learning strategies based on the student's learning requirements and make adjustments to maintain focus and keep them engaged Complete session reports of student's engagement, progress and attainment, record weekly attendance figures.

Requirements for the role:

You will be a tutor who:

Has experience teaching/tutoring maths at GCSE level Has a gift for making GCSE maths accessible to students Is able to work with the student (in-person) in Kidlington , OX5 Oxfordshire Has an affinity with and ability to work with young people.
