If so, Connect2SocialWork has an amazing opportunity for a highly capable individual who is looking for a new challenge working with Young People with Special Educational Needs as a Social Day Care Support Worker.

The successful candidate will be working alongside the growing team and will receive training and ongoing support. The day will involve supporting learning activities either in a 1:1 or a group setting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs Social care support/youth work/community work background Experience working with ASC, Learning Disabilities, SEN students and/or challenging behaviour Knowledge of different types of learning difficulties and disabilities Experience in personal and intimate care Experience preferred in speech, language and communication aids such as AAC, Makaton, PECs and/or SCERTS (not essential) Own transport due to location
WORKING HOURS AND PAY:

Full time: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 12.21 per hour
