WHAT TO EXPECT

We have an opportunity for a Data Scientist to acts as a Subject Matter Expert associated to Electric Vehicle Efficiency. This talented person will form part of our Integrated Energy Management (IEM) Off-Cycle team (part of the Vehicle Efficiency group) wo are responsible for delivery of the Efficiency Enabling / Enhancing features and control strategies for all vehicle programmes and the development Technology proposals and Business Cases for future technologies.

This is a great opportunity to understand current and future Zero Emission Vehicles\' efficiency certification legislation in major and developing markets taking responsibility for the creation and continuous improvement of certification Data Handling processes and tools (to collate complex energy nodes datasets required official vehicle efficiency calculations).

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Create, update and audit backend feed tool for emission/ range calculator (for required type approval and sale process front end of new registered vehicles in global markets)
• Create, own and maintain the ZEV Certification strategy to inform ePOs of the optimum vehicle specifications for certification.
• Collaboration with In-Digital team(s) to create IT solution consisting of online relational databases.
• Keep abreast of and engage where necessary for legislative regulation linking to Vehicle Efficiency homologation
• Support the development of Integrated Energy Management Strategies for future vehicle solutions.
