We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and focused Data Scientist to join the Data Science team in our Marketing function.

The aim of our Data Science team is to empower all Radius divisions with smart insights to drive strategy and decision-making in Marketing and Sales operations. The team delivers these insights through deploying predictive models, performing market segmentation analysis, and much more.

In this role you will help with building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models across different systems and data environments.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll have a strong background in a commercial environment, be curious about data, and creative in deriving insights and features for Machine Learning models.

The role reports to the Head of Data Science and is based from our head office in Crewe, Cheshire

What would your day to day look like?

• Building predictive analytics models for Marketing and Sales to optimise conversion rate and improve return on investment and effort.
• Deploying and maintaining ML models on our ecosystem (AWS + Redshift + DataBricks) and implementing on our CRM, Salesforce
• Using data analytics to provide insights that aid strategic decision-making within the business.

• Working on initiatives for all of Radius\xe2\x80\x99 products - Fuel, Telematics, Telecoms, Insurance, Vehicle solutions, EV, and Energy \xe2\x80\x93 as part of a central team
• Utilising 1st party and open data to aid customer profiling and segmentation initiatives.

What do we expect of you?

You will be an experienced data scientist, with at least 4 years in a commercial environment.

As a result, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to clearly demonstrate:

• Passion for driving business impact through data and insights
• Ability to manage stakeholder communication through the data science process
• Strong proficiency in Python / R and SQL for Data Science and Data Engineering
• Good knowledge of Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Machine Learning models
• Ability to communicate findings through presentations and dashboards
• Good organisation and time-management skills
