Data Reporting Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Coventry, West Midlands - Hybrid role - 1 day a month on the office

This leading Software house are looking to a Data Reporting analyst to their IT services team. The successful Data Analyst / Reports specialist will be working on creating the next generation of their cutting-edge software. Working as part of an established team you will ensure customer data and reporting requirements are met. The data reporting analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all data and reporting work, meets the accepted specification and is delivered to the highest quality within project deadlines.

The Data Reporting Specialist / Data Migration Analyst will be involved in all aspects of customer data and reporting, including but not limited to: scoping customer data migration and reporting requirements, data migration from customers legacy systems and other multiple sources, writing reports to customer specifications, estimating customer requirements and writing statement of works, data investigation, assisting other members of the Professional Services and Support teams with queries.

Core skills for this Data Reporting analyst includes;

• Knowledge of relational database design
• Experience of data migration from legacy systems (Access)
• MS Access
• Transact SQL, T-SQL, Power BI
• Use of SQL Management studio to write views and stored procedures
• Report writing and query design
• Experience of requirements analysis and scoping
• Familiar with creation and operation of business Dashboards
• Ability to write comprehensive customer facing business documents

As a Data Specialist you will need to have a high level of skill as well as an ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with both colleagues and customers. The data analyst /reporting analyst will have a keen eye for detail who is passionate about quality and will have an eye on emerging technologies and trends.
