Southern Housing is on the lookout for a talented
Data Quality Analyst
to become an integral part of our Data & Business Information Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to support in modern innovation within data management by utilising our new technology software to develop and implement rules aimed at monitoring and enhancing data quality. Reporting to our Data Quality & Improvement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving improvements in data quality, fostering data literacy across the organisation, and ensuring our projects prioritise exceptional data management practices. You'll utilise cutting-edge tools like Power BI and embrace Data Quality principles to create lasting change.
Based at our vibrant head office in Farringdon, this position also offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, tailored to you and your manager's agreement. If you're passionate about leveraging technology and championing data quality, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities will include:
Be a subject matter expert in data & information management, share knowledge and expertise across the business and promote data literacy.
Requirement gathering and analysis.
Assist with regulatory submissions and build stakeholder relationships.
Ensure data and information are key considerations of all project activity across the organisation achieved through consultation during project development.
Use basic SQL and data analysis to support decisions.
Prepare and present reports as required to stakeholder groups including the Data & Information Governance Group.
What you'll need:
Strong communication skills to explain complex data and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of Data Quality tools (e.g., Master Data Management and Power BI) and principles.
Ability to problem-solve, manage risks, and make objective assessments.
Proficiency in SQL, IT systems and delivering high-quality service.
Good organisational skills, able to handle a busy, fast-paced workload.
The ability to deliver high-quality service while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
