I am currently recruiting for a Leading management consulting firm who are seeking an experienced data engineer to build and lead a new data science team.
The role will be responsible for understanding user needs, architecting the data management system, and ensuring data can be delivered to clients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have

5+ years\' experience in data engineering and architecture, with proven skills
in Python, SQL, data pipelines, cloud platforms, etc. Leadership capabilities
are essential, as you will be building a small team and guiding junior members.
Strong communication and teamwork are a must in our collaborative, fast-paced
environment.

They are undergoing rapid growth in their energy transition consulting services. This role will be
pivotal in developing the data capabilities needed to model complex energy
systems and provide analytics to clients. Our state-of-the-art data platform
aims to harness AI, big data and other emerging technologies.

Located in Cardiff, they are
part of a global engineering and advisory firm with thousands of experts
worldwide.
