Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE



We are excited to announce a new role focused on the management and provision of utilities across the Arch Co portfolio estate. This position will be part of our new business function, dedicated to delivering in-house services that enhance operational efficiency. The success of this role hinges on the ability to maintain high-quality data, which is crucial for effective management reporting and utilities management processes. As the Data Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all utility data entered into our systems is accurate and reliable. You will assist in generating reports and investigating any discrepancies in data that require further analysis and resolution.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Data Management: Input utility data into central database systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reporting: Periodically create and distribute reports based on utility data, highlighting trends and anomalies. Database Maintenance: Run queries, update databases, and digitize physical records as needed to maintain an organized and efficient data system. Data Analysis: Investigate and resolve any anomalous data entries, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure data integrity. Documentation: Index and file invoices and other related documents to maintain comprehensive records. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather necessary data and provide insights that support decision-making processes.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE



Proven experience in data entry and management, particularly within a utilities or facilities management context. Familiarity with cataloguing data using appropriate tags for easy retrieval and reference. Experience in transferring physical records to a digital filing system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Ability to retrieve and present data as requested by management or other stakeholders. Experience in maintaining and updating database systems to reflect current information. Competence in generating periodic reports that summarize key data insights. Proficient in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and other word processing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word). Strong general administration skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities. Familiarity of SQL and data architectures, with a willingness to learn more about data management systems and practices.
