Our customer are one of the largest commercial real estate organisations on the planet, who have a number of critical contracts (data centres, banking, etc) across the UK, Europe and globally. They have current vacancies for multi-skilled M&E engineers to be based at some of their data centres in the Slough area. These engineers will complement the existing 24/7 shift engineering team, helping to deliver planned and reactive maintenance to electrical, mechanical and critical systems within an N+1 environment. Working on a Monday to Friday basis, reporting into Operations and Data Centre Manager. Guideline salary for this position is circa \xc2\xa342-44,000 basic, with annual bonus, overtime and an industry leading pension scheme.
Candidates will be fully qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least three years of commercial building services experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC and preferably critical systems. Along with core electrical or mechanical qualifications, additional training such as 2391, F-Gas, L8 Water Treatment, etc. will all be beneficial. Particular working knowledge of plant and systems will include:
Electrical & Mechanical Failf-Finding, Single & Three Phase Power, Pumps, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, BMS Operation, Air Handling & Fan Coil Units, VRV/VRFs, Diesel Generato and UPS systems, 1st line Chiller & Boilers Re-sets, Close Control AC Units, PDUs, VESDA, Water Treatment, etc.
