As a Data Archiving Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Joining our Corporate Services Division, you will be part of the team implementing the OpenText platform from kick off to go live across our UK business.Day-to-day, you'll be working with external consultants during the initial phases of implementation and be responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining data archiving solutions; ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval and compliance with industry standards.

• Design, implement, and maintain data archiving strategies to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Manage and configure OpenText solutions for data archiving and management.
• Monitor data storage systems and perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Perform regular data audits and quality checks and generate reports on the data quality and archiving activities.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data retention policies and ensure their implementation.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is offered on a primarily remote basis is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol, Portsmouth, Leicester, Warrington, or Plymouth.Essential experience of the Data Archiving Specialist

• Proven experience in data management and archiving, with a focus on OpenText, SQL and SQL warehousing solutions
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in database management and data storage solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Detail-orientated and highly organised.

Qualifications for the Data Archiving Specialist

• Degree in Computer Science or similar would be desirable however, we value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
