Financial Data Analyst xe2x80x93 Alternate Investment Fund xe2x80x93 (German Speaker)Our client, a global leader in the finance industry, is seeking a highly motivated German speaking individual along with fluency in English to join their dynamic team. This is a 12- month temporary contract with an immediate start date and would suit a candidate with a strong analytical mind and demonstratable interest in financial markets. This is a remote role with 1-week of onsite training in the City of London.This is a great opportunity for recent graduates to begin their career within a leading organisation in the technology and finance industry. Successful applicants will receive world-class training, work in a complex and exciting environment.This position focuses on sourcing fund data from alternate investment fund managers, building relationships, and acting as a bridge between them and the clientxe2x80x99s internal data teams.The successful candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to manage financial data processes and fluency in German. They should express strong interest in alternate investment funds and financial markets in general.Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and validating documentation data from market providers and publishing of the data to our clientxe2x80x99s internal software
  • Performing data quality checks
  • Updating and processing data onto the database adhering to time sensitivity
  • Building relationships with fund managers and acting as their primary point of contact
  • Liaising between fund managers and internal data/technical team
  • Applying problem-solving skills to enhance processes and software
  • Take ownership and be proactive with key areas of responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Fluency in German in addition to English is a must
  • Bachelor or/and Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent work experience
  • Practical experience in data research and ability to derive information from public sources
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must and experience with programming languages is preferred
  • Prior experience / strong knowledge and understanding of alternate investment fund and finance in general
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate examples of improving or developing processes
  • Strong organization skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast pace changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrated in client facing environment
  • Ability to interact with leading finance professionals
  • Strong attention to details
