We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our market leading client. Ideally you will have experience within a retail environment. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and interpreting data, providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.

This is a new role for the business and will offer the successful candidate a chance to impact at the very top level. The business is a market leader and is growing exponentially and with growth will come progression. Key Responsibilities:

- Utilise your expertise in SQL and Excel to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources to provide accurate and reliable analysis.
- Create and maintain dynamic dashboards using advanced Excel functionalities, ensuring data visualisation is clear, concise, and actionable.
- Develop an understanding of DAX formulas and apply them to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective reports and visualisations using tools like Power BI.
- Write complex queries to retrieve and aggregate data from multiple databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyse data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue optimisation.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst ideally within the retail industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel is essential, with the ability to write efficient queries and perform complex data manipulations.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with DAX formulas and the ability to apply them to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using advanced Excel functionalities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
