Do you teach children after school or on weekends and looking for flexible local work between 8.30 and 3.30 pm?

Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to work in Liverpool secondary schools. We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover PE and dance on a flexible supply basis.

As a Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher your responsibilities will include:

• Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
• Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
• Delivering pre-planned lessons
• Using provided resources to encourage learning
• Covering a range of subjects including practical PE lessons or drama lessons or dance lessons
• Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
• Developing independent study skills and peer learning
• Pastoral and learning support
• Managing handover back to the teacher

To join us and be successful in this Cover Supervisor role, you will need to:

• Have a minimum of six week\'s experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers
• A referee Tradewind can contact to take a detailed reference to account for this experience
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a full CV with employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Bachelor\'s degree or similar equivalent qualification
• Able to get to Warrington by 8.30 with 30 minutes\' notice.
