Our client is seeking a nurturing and flexible shared care Daily Nanny to support the daily care of their two-year-old at their home in Notting Hill.



This is a shared care role working closely alongside a hands-on mother, who takes the lead in daily routines. The family are looking for a creative and energetic Nanny who is happy to go with the flow, take direction, and adapt to the family's needs. They also have one dog, so a pet-friendly candidate is essential.



The family employ a part-time Housekeeper, so minimal housekeeping would be involved.



Start date: June 2025.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Daily Nanny in Notting Hill, London, include:


Provide attentive and loving care for one child, aged two years Maintain a safe, stimulating environment and attend to basic needs including feeding, changing nappies, and nap time routines Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities Support the parents in establishing and maintaining a consistent daily routine Maintain clear and open communication with the parents, offering regular updates Prioritise the child's safety at all times and handle emergencies calmly Provide flexible cover including occasional babysitting, overnight stays, weekend work, and occasional travel with the family

Candidates must be/have:

Proven experience as a Nanny, preferably with toddlers A background in early childhood education (desirable) Familiarity with early childhood developmental milestones and best childcare practices A warm, patient, and adaptable nature Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A flexible attitude and the ability to work within a shared care dynamic, following the parents' lead Pet friendly (the family has two dogs)

Hours

37 hours per week.



Mainly Monday to Friday with flexible timings, including some split shifts, occasional overnight stays, and weekend cover.

Salary

Up to 60,000, depending on experience.
