Job Description
Castle Dairies are currently looking for a DAF Plant Operator (Afternoons) to join our team. This role requires working from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
This role will be shift based around the needs of production.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain, operate, and monitor the treatment facility Complete daily site meter readings Create preventative maintenance schedules Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during quieter periods Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting Work in conformance to HSE regulations Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder
Essential
You must be able to work without direct supervision, be self-motivated, and have a strong desire to get the correct result.
Ability to complete paperwork as required. A passion to learn and understand machinery in area. Good communicator. Clean as you go mentality. Adhere to quality standards.
