We are currently looking for a MS Dynamics 365 Functional Lead to lead the efficient and accurate design and delivery of end to end functional solutions for D365 F&O while incorporating the design of the wider ecosystem (boundary systems).

These solutions will meet the business, service level and architecture needs of the client in the most cost effective and secure manner. It\xc2\xb4s also the responsibility of the MS Dynamics 365 Functional lead to assist the team in compliance with departmental policies and standard by implementing best practice approaches to analysis, design, configuration, testing, change and environment management.

The MS Dynamics 365 Functional Lead will have excellent client-facing communication skills and have experience running functional workshops, solutionising, design and delivery of functional solutions that meet the business needs. They should be able to translate technical and functional project details to management and work with technical stakeholders, having a balanced mix of technical and business skills.

The MS Dynamics 365 Functional Lead will lead the \xe2\x80\x98Functional Delivery Team\xe2\x80\x99 of functional consultants, working hand in hand with the SMEs to ensure that the programme delivers the needs of the business.

The candidate is key part of the Programme Leadership team and should help provide direction, share experience and best practice. The candidate will be involved in overall programme planning, reporting on progress and raising key risk and issues.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of functional consultants advising priorities for tasks / workload according to project plan
• The functional lead Consultant will act as a Functional Lead to drive requirements gathering, analysis of requirements and propose D365FO solution with product best practices.
• Being a part of the BPR leadership team
• Considering all edge systems during any design (boundary systems) and liaising with the relevant technical departments
• Working closely with the Global process team to ensure Essentra policy / business process is followed
• Collaborating with the Cutover manager to ensure tasks are listed for effective cutover purposes
• Stakeholder engagement with sites that are live, those for forthcoming sites and where applicable internal business knowledge experts within Essentra
• Lead the configuration process in collaboration with Global Business Process Lead
• Collaboration with Data migration \xe2\x80\x93 ensure that data is considered against functional requirements
• Have a holistic of Essentra\xe2\x80\x99s business needs and drive the templated design for consistency
• Translating the requirements and solution to development and final validation within the different Essentra Entities in Components
• Ensure that security and role design is incorporated into standard template
• Support the developer regarding solution design
• Support the leadership team in detailed planning, raising risks and issues, and ensuring programme governance
• Preparing the Functional Design Documents, Solution Design document and validate the solution and contributing to the transfer of functional requirements to development and test teams
• Support in preparing test strategy, test plan, test execution and troubleshooting of developed solution
• The consultant will bring more than 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience broad with Dynamics D365 F&O, Finance and Supply Chain Management, Warehouse, Sales and Manufacturing skills
• Managing and resolving issues through hyper-care and BAU support
• Batch job management experience
• Overall view of workflows required against Essentra SOA
