Job Summary:



Provide wordings, product and underwriting management support to Cyber Risks and other Beazley trading teams as necessary with respect to Cyber and Tech products.

Key Responsibilities:

Wordings



Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating international policy wordings (UK and ROW) and endorsements to support business/underwriting objectives of Cyber Risks. Assisting international Cyber Risks Underwriters in addressing coverage issues raised in the underwriting and negotiation process to enable successful closing of business opportunities. Leading wordings, product and facility negotiations with broking partners. Managing the translation and localisation of wordings and endorsements for different countries where required. Assist Cyber Risks Underwriters in achieving sales and service goals by providing high quality and timely response to queries raised. Providing support on underwriting, product development, and coverage issues. Review confidentiality agreements and warranty statements as needed for Cyber Risks Underwriters to engage in the underwriting process. Assist Cyber Risks Underwriters in addressing bespoke coverage requests; this requires interaction with Brokers, Insureds, other key external stakeholders (e.g. insured counsel). Collaborate with Underwriting Management to facilitate an organised knowledge management and sharing process. Coordinate projects and work collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally, including but not limited to other Cyber Risks Underwriting Management teammates, Speciality Risk Wordings, Compliance, Claims, Conduct Risk, Product Development, Risk Management, Underwriting Controls and Operations, Marketing and IT. Monitor competitive landscapes for the continuous improvement of wordings and underwriting controls and participate in competitor analysis. Participate in Cyber Risks Business Planning, Away Days, Broker/Client meetings and other Marketing events, as required and appropriate. Provide assistance with additional projects and/or legal services for Cyber Risks Underwriting Management, Underwriters and Beazley Security, as needed.

This may include, amongst others, Beazley's underwriting control standards, Beazley's claims control standards, other Beazley standards and customer relationship management. Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.

Personal Specification:

Education & Qualifications

Law Degree; and/or Experience in insurance policy wordings

Skills & Abilities

Organised and detailed oriented Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing Self-motivated team worker who is also able to work on own initiative Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritise Able to maintain standards and professionalism during periods of fluctuating workloads In addition to English, fluency in and ability to read / draft legal contracts in another European language: Italian preferred.
