Cyber Security Researcher

My Manchester-based defence client is currently recruiting for an ambitious and dynamic Cyber Security Researcher to join their rapidly expanding team. This position will provide career progression for experienced researchers seeking a technical leadership role, or training for those who wish to excel into a leadership position.
Duties:
- Find weaknesses and vulnerabilities in a system\'s design and provide guidance to clients based on your research
- Lead innovative research, teams, build technical customer relationships alongside presenting security research and its implications to technical and non-technical audiences
- Malware or firmware analysis / reverse engineering
- Vulnerability analysis and/or exploit development
- Systems engineering and security models
- Network architectures, protocol analysis or binary file format engineering
- Comfortable developing own tools including reverse engineering using IDA Pro or Ghidra
