Job Description

You will be working in our busy Tele-Medical Centre where we receive medical diagnostic tests (ECGs) from GP practices across the country via the telephone. Your role will be to answer a call from a GP practice staff member, ask where they are calling from, check the address carefully, ask for the patient's name, date of birth, NHS number, the reason for the ECG and any relevant history, and which email address they want the result going to. You will have to write all this down and enter it into our medical software, receive the ECG and then hand the call over to a cardiology clinician at our centre.

You will work as part of our call taking team who also work closely with our clinical team and admin team in a large open plan office. Your working days will be 4 10 hour day shifts between Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm. You also will be required to work 1 in 4 weekends either Saturday or Sunday, 9-4pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
