We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to work within the Warranty Sales Team for our client based in central Croydon.

This client believes in engaging their employees, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to perform and making sure everyone has the opportunity to progress within the company. You will be part of a growing team, who deliver excellence both individually and through teamwork. Based in central Croydon with immediate proximity to the train station, trams and buses in the area, travelling to work couldn\'t be easier on a daily basis. This role will also be offered on a hybrid basis.

Salary: \xc2\xa324,091.40 plus \xc2\xa32,000 performance bonus, as well as fantastic benefits for all employees.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm. These rotate each week. 1 in 3 Saturdays you will be required to work (09:00 - 13:00) with one half day in the week. This role is being offered on a 60/40 office/home working basis.

Start: 9th October 2023 (please only apply if you are able to accommodate this start date and have no annual leave booked for the first 6 weeks due to training).

Working on behalf of our clients\' Automotive clients, you will be providing a professional, efficient and proactive service, reflecting the brand values of their clients. You will be receiving inbound calls from customers wishing to renew their automotive warranty. You will be utilising your exceptional sales skills to ensure our customers are provided with all relevant information relation to our services and products. You will have strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail to ensure in house and client systems are maintained and updated. You will be handling a high volume of in and outbound calls quickly and efficiently.

  • Maintain and update all current customer assistance details
  • Accurate input of warranty information.
  • Daily processing of Motor Warranty policies using manufactures intranet and computer programs
  • Handle all incoming calls in a polite, efficient and proactive manner
  • Capture data and provide customer with information
  • Reply to all correspondence within defined timescales
  • Maintain working knowledge of the client\'s product range
  • Actively look for opportunities to upgrade levels of cover through effective listening and identification of customer needs.
  • Carry out outbound sales activity ensuring all regulatory and customer service standards and requirements are adhered to where appropriate.
Who will suit this role?

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a customer focused position preferably within a call centre environment.
  • Good standard of general education, including GCSE English or equivalent
  • IT Literate
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Proactive, quick thinking, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
  • Responsible and confident approach to work duties
  • Empathetic/Diplomatic
  • Excellent listening skills and verbal communication.
  • Detailed and methodical in approach to work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
