Job Description


CK Group are recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a scientific laboratory equipment services company who work with clients in the life sciences industry across the UK on a temporary to permanent basis.

My client is a multi-national laboratory equipment service company who work with the science community helping to maintain scientific laboratory equipment.

Location:
This role will be based in Stevenage, UK.

As a Customer service Coordinator you will be responsible for our front of house service involving the coordination and administration of repair and calibration work requests, parts receipt, lab equipment returns, customer enquiries and associated Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) records

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with lab users and all services to ensure the level of service meets the needs of the scientific teams
  • Act as first point of contact for Third Party contractors arriving at site, ensuring that they have valid EHS and GMP induction prior to commencement of work
  • Ensure that all Third-Party Contractors are managed in line with procedures
  • Follow up with customers service documentation signatures & chase up field service reports
  • Using the Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Support the raising, monitoring, and closing out of helpdesk tickets, equipment maintenance/repair, IT Services, and infrastructure
  • Assist in preparation of audits. Retrieve documentation for inspection purposes
  • Generate local KPI data agreed with customer and use that data to improve service (e.g., quality, performance) Deliver agreed KPI service targets.
  • To carry out all requests and tasks in a helpful and professional manner, build relationships with key staff and consistently demonstrate a good customer service interface
Your Background:
  • Experience in a customer facing role in a scientific environment is an advantage
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications
  • Experience in Asset Management or CRM Systems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests with different levels of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment and appreciation of GxP is an advantage
