Were looking for a Customer Service Assistant who can make a real difference in their local communityPutting U in Southern Co-opSouthern Co-op is recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to help deliver the excellent service were known for. Our retail stores are more than somewhere to pick up the groceries xe2x80x94 theyre the heart of the town or village, the place to bump into friends, or even a vital service for vulnerable people. Our Customer Service Assistants dont just help improve store performance and efficiency, theyre the friendly, recognisable face within the local community.What were looking forWere offering an exciting and varied role on a part time basis within our retail store. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Youll be a fantastic communicator and not afraid to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone. Youll have excellent communication skills, and be a great team player with a positive xe2x80x98can do attitude. Youll also have a keen enthusiasm for delivering great customer service and wont be afraid to get stuck in and carry out day-to-day tasks, including:

  • Helping customers with queries and requests
  • Merchandising stock, ensuring great availability for our customers
  • Assisting with stock control and replenishment
  • Working on the checkout serving customers
  • Helping keep the store clean, tidy and safe
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times
Taking this friendly, helpful and caring attitude to the next level, youll also proactively engage in community activities.
