What you will be doing...
As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll play an important role for our customers, by ensuring exceptional service leading to high customer satisfaction. You'll be knowledgeable on our routes and tickets, as well as provide support and assistance to customers in times of need and disruption.
In this role, you'll follow rules, regulation and safety notices within the station, to ensure not only you but our stations can safely operate. You'll make sure our stations are presentable and if there is cause for an accident or other safety related issues, you'll be first to adhere to safety requirements and procedures.

What you'll be doing:
Dispatching trains safely and punctually from station platforms
Communicating clearly with train crews, station staff, and control rooms
Monitoring train movements and responding quickly to disruptions or changes
Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Delivering excellent customer service and information, especially during delays
What we're looking for:
Strong communication and decision-making skills
Ability to stay calm, focused, and accurate in a fast-paced environment
Good awareness of safety procedures and regulations (training provided)
Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays Previous rail, transport, or safety-critical experience is a bonus - but not essential
