This is a unique job within Warlord Games where the successful candidate will spend their time:
Helping customers who get in touch with us with whatever problem or question that they have using our customer service system
Going to wargaming events as part of the events team to help customers buy the products that they want or run demonstration games as needed
This involves days where you will be using our web-based system to resolve customer issues and questions whilst meeting daily targets for completed tickets. As part of the events team, you will be required to help get everything ready for events, making sure that all stock is loaded onto the van safely and securely. There will be times when it is your turn to drive the van and then work at the event, making sales, running demonstration games and helping customers with questions they may have, all before loading the van up again and bringing it back. There will also be occasions where you will be working in the shop that is at our headquarters.
Key responsibilities:
Manage, respond and follow up on customer service tickets using the web-based customer service system
Can communicate in-person, over the phone or by email with written communication will being clear and concise
Actively selling products at events using good levels of product knowledge
Running exciting and engaging demonstration games that bring the historical wargaming hobby to life
Managing, loading and unloading stock from the events van - this is a 'hands-on' job
Engage with continuous improvement helping to improve how the department works
Monitoring your own performance and reporting it at the end of every shift
Adhering to all safe systems of work and work policies

The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about helping customers and making sales using their knowledge of our products and their relentless positive attitude. Communication skills will be top notch as they will be speaking face-to-face, on the phone and by email - this means your written communication will be clear and concise. They will be computer literate although training will be given on the IT systems we use and will not fear working at pace to meet daily targets.
