We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. Your role will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders and offering expert product advice.
Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Adviser, your main responsibility will be to process customer orders via phone and e-mail. You will also have the opportunity to upsell our extensive range of janitorial and hygiene products, helping customers find the best solutions for their needs.
In addition to processing orders, you will manage a range of customer queries, including picking errors, processing error, and delivery issues to ensure the problem is resolved quickly and efficiently, leaving the customer with a positive experience.
This role is perfect for someone who is both customer-oriented and enjoys the opportunity to engage in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer calls and e-mails, providing excellent service and support.
Process customer orders for janitorial and hygiene products accurately and efficiently.
Offer expert advice on product selection and answer any queries.
Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.
Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manage and resolve customer issues relating to picking, processing and delivery errors by liaising with various departments.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably within a B2B or product-based environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of janitorial or hygiene products would be an advantage but is not essential.
A proactive attitude, with the ability to upsell and recommend suitable products.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems.
Previous sales experience would be beneficial but is not a requirement for the role.
