Customer Service Advisor




Barking

Salary: 26,250




5 days over 7 (including Sundays on a rota basis)

40 hours per week - 09:30 to 18:00





The Customer Service Advisor is the main point of contact for customers and is responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information in a professional and efficient manner, by establishing positive relationships with customers and exceeding their expectations.


In addition, you will also support the Sales team in ensuring efficient, accurate processing of all customer orders and queries.

What will I be doing?



Provide administrative support in assisting customers when handling and responding to enquiries, emails, and telephone calls. Managing product availability, co-ordinating with the warehouse for stock levels, ensuring accurate communication to customers. Maintaining accurate customer records on databases and spread sheets including tracking preferences, order history, invoices and contact information. Generating sales reports, analysing sales data, and preparing sales forecasts to inform decision making. Maintain a thorough understanding of products offered by the company to provide accurate information, answering any questions or recommendations they may have. Co-ordinating with other areas of the business including marketing, financing, and logistics to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Supporting the technical department with updates of specifications and codes including setting up new round label templates. Issuing invoices and print correct labels for customer orders to the operations production areas. Providing day to day general administrative support to other departments within the operation. Including filing organising of documents.

What do I need to be considered for this role?



NVQ level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent qualification (desirable). Experience of working in a FMCG customer service setting would be advantageous. Experience using Microsoft office including Excel and CRM systems. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Excellent listening, questioning and feedback skills. A professional manner, with good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines.
