to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries and orders. You'll handle calls, provide product information, take and process orders, schedule deliveries, and work closely with our dispatch and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide information on products, pricing, availability, and delivery options.
Take and process concrete orders accurately using internal systems.
Coordinate with the dispatch team to schedule and confirm deliveries.
Upsell or cross-sell additional services or products when appropriate.
Handle customer complaints or issues, resolving them efficiently or escalating when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, orders, and customer information.
Follow up on sales leads or quote requests as directed by the sales team.
Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide excellent service.
Skills
Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably in the construction or logistics industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Proficiency in basic computer systems (MS Office) and CRM or order processing software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of ready-mix concrete or construction materials is an advantage but not essential - training will be provided.
