Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Hybrid working available with a minimum of 40% of time in the office
Location : This role is based in our Edinburgh office on Lothian Road within easy reach of the City Centre and easily accessible via public transport

The role
Help our Standard Life pension customers realise a lifetime of possibilities by taking their calls and assisting them with enquiries online and through secure messaging.
Making choices about your pension is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make in their lives. You would be the first point of contact for pension & retirement queries from our Standard Life customers.
What we would expect of you
You would be dealing with a range of pension queries from Standard Life customers. Using your first class communication skills, you\'ll be responsible for making the complex simple for our customers, whether that is by having great conversations over the phone or by email. To do this we would expect you to have an excellent telephone manner and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring customers are equipped with all of the information they need to make the right decision regarding their pension policies. To do this, we would expect you to have a passion for developing your knowledge on workplace pensions and take ownership of complex queries. This is not a sales based role and you will dealing with inbound calls from our customers. You do not need any contact centre or financial services experience as full and ongoing training will be provided.
