Job Purpose
The Customer Insight Analyst will be responsible for gathering & sharing insights that can be used to inform and support decision-making. This role is also important to the wider business as a reliable consumer and market insights are critical enablers for the growth of the product/service. Analyses results to provide insights to support promotional, category management and sales initiatives. Being a Customer Insights Analyst utilises a variety of methods, including focus groups, surveys, competitor and industry research, to produce useful customer insight data and make recommendations to stakeholders. You will have a great understanding of our values and our customers be an excellent relationship builder internally and externally.
The role will be based at our Head Office, but some business travel and occasional weekend work may be required. You must hold a UK driving license with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
Skills & Experience
1. At least 2 years demonstrated experience in consumer insights or market research.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
3. Experience in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research.
4. Familiar with putting together data from multiple sources to tell a story
5. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
6. Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
7. Knowledge of business visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Identify, develop and create in conjunction with the Strategic Customer Marketing Manager, programmes and initiatives that empowers the business to maximise its potential through the use and manipulation of insight data.
\xc2\xb7 Devising actionable strategies from customer insights.
\xc2\xb7 Bring the consumer perspective to marketing & business decision-making by executing market analysis and research activities to provide insights and recommendations that can be actioned within our total retail estate.
\xc2\xb7 Convey analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports.
\xc2\xb7 Design research programs, both qualitative and quantitative, to address business needs & make recommendations for investment in new data sources to unlock growth & customer insight in conjunction with the Strategic Customer Marketing Manager.
\xc2\xb7 Prepare, produce and distribute required marketing insights to manage the Calendar of Engagement process, including monthly reports for the Commercial Priorities Alignment Meeting and Calendar of Engagement Meetings.
\xc2\xb7 Manage and control the insights that help guide the Commercial Priorities Alignment meeting & Calendar of Engagement process.
\xc2\xb7 Proactively monitor period performance, conducting analysis and facilitating the creation and syndication of regular updates and reporting to all levels of management on key metrics and objectives. Share learnings & use effective insights to guide growth.
\xc2\xb7 Work with the Strategic Customer Marketing Manager to develop the customer, brand & proposition project to ensure The Entertainer is set for the future with regards to customer understanding & becomes a foundation stone for our strategic future.
