THE TRAILER \xe2\x80\x93 THE ROLE

We are looking for Customer Assistants who are passionate about great customer service to join the team here at Vue Stratford.

Vue Stratford City has 20 screens and is one of one of the largest all-new, all-digital cinemas in Europe. Located at the gateway to London\'s Olympic Park in the heart of Stratford City, the site has excellent transport links. Stratford station is served by Central and Jubilee lines and also hosts national rail services from East Anglia and Essex, London Overground and the DLR. There are also a number of local bus services.

ACT 1 \xe2\x80\x93 WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING

As a Customer Assistant you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for a wide variety of duties across the cinema.

As well as delivering exceptional customer service you will help the cinema to meet daily sales targets by recommending films and up-selling our premium seating options and latest deals on drinks and snacks.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll check tickets, replenish stock and work as part of a team to get each screen ready for the next film in record time, helping to keep the whole cinema clean and tidy so every customer can enjoy the Vue \xe2\x80\x98big screen\xe2\x80\x99 experience at its best.

ACT 2 \xe2\x80\x93 WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

You\xe2\x80\x99ll need enthusiasm, confidence, and enjoy working in a busy target driven environment where no two days are ever the same. Previous customer service experience would be beneficial but it isn\xe2\x80\x99t essential as full training will be given.

THE CREDITS \xe2\x80\x93 WORKING HOURS

This is a part time contract; you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be flexible to work late evening and weekends (sometimes as late as 4AM).

Peak times for us are Friday to Sunday plus school holidays and we are able to offer additional hours during these busy periods.

Due to these hours, in order to be compliant with the Working Time Regulations 1998 candidates wishing to apply for this position must be over 18.
