As a Customer Assistant, you will be the face of our business, ensuring that every customer receives exceptional service. Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the safe authorisation of the fuel pumps.
Operating the tills and handling cash and card transactions accurately.
Promote products and services at the till point.
Assisting customers in the store.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store and the forecourt area according to Brand Standard.
Maintaining the Costa Coffee machine within the store.
Accepting and dealing with store deliveries.
Handling customer inquiries and providing information on products and services.
Restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are tidy and well-presented.
Supporting the management team with daily operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Ensuring the forecourt and store are clean, safe, and welcoming for customers.
Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
Handling cash transactions and using the POS system efficiently.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
