Job Title: Curriculum Team Leader \xe2\x80\x93 Health and Social Care

Salary: From \xc2\xa333,882 - \xc2\xa338,174 per annum

Contract: MC Lecturer, Full Time, Whole time, Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Teaching Hours: 864 per annum - abatement for the role of Curriculum Leader will be discussed at interview

Annual Leave: 45 days per annum, plus statutory Bank Holidays

Pension: Teachers\xe2\x80\x99 Pension

About the College

• Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.

About the role

The Curriculum Team Leader \xe2\x80\x93 (Access, Adults and HE) will be responsible for the academic leadership of curriculum teams and operational management of the curriculum area including assisting in the development of timetables, the monitoring of quality and performance management where necessary

The successful candidate will:

• To hold a relevant qualification at Degree level.
• Relevant experience in a teaching position in Further Education or Secondary Education or within a professional environment \xe2\x80\x93 Desirable.
• Current knowledge of potential issues that may impact on curriculum delivery.
• Knowledge of career opportunities for all age ranges of students.
