CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Curatorial E (SO grade) to join their team on a temporary contract with possibility of extension.
\xc2\xb7 Pay Rate - \xc2\xa317.09 per/hr
\xc2\xb7 Location - Public Record Office of Northern Ireland
\xc2\xb7 Benefits - 37 days holiday per annum
\xc2\xb7 Hours - 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
\xc2\xb7 Delivering workshops, group visits and community engagement activities to assist the public with understanding and use of PRONI services, applications, and records.
\xc2\xb7 Contributing to the development of a programme of public engagement, and promotion through delivery of talks, tours, exhibitions, four flagship events, etc.
\xc2\xb7 In partnership with DfC Comms and Press Office, deliver communications and engagement through social media and PRONI web content.
\xc2\xb7 Work on external partnership engagement projects including contribution to current CollabArchive project.
\xc2\xb7 Operational Management of front-of-house service delivery at PRONI, including oversight of the service provided through the Search Room and Reading Room, and provision of onsite curatorial advice and guidance.
\xc2\xb7 Developing and implementing new services, processes, and procedures, in response to customer feedback and archival best practice
\xc2\xb7 Monitoring, managing, and reporting to senior management in relation to procurement, visitor statistics, comments and suggestions; and complaints handling.
\xc2\xb7 To contribute to the delivery of the Public Services Branch business plan.
\xc2\xb7 Manage and monitor of branch financial, governance and human resources to deliver services and performance objectives in line with Departmental and NICS best practice.
\xc2\xb7 To support the Deputy Head of Branch, the PRONI Director and senior colleagues as required.

Essential Experience/Qualifications
\xc2\xb7 At least a second-class honours degree in any discipline and at least one of the following: a post-graduate archival or records/information management qualification eg Diploma in Archive Administration or an MA in Archive Administration or Records Management; or at least 1 years\' experience in applying archival or records and information management principles, policies and practices.
