As one of our Cryptographic Security Professionals, you\'ll translate customer requirements into deliverable designs, whilst remaining sensitive to cost, strategy and risk drivers. What you\'ll do:

• Learn to become a subject matter expert on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic solutions during customer workshops, capturing requirements, translating into Designs, identifying relevant documentation sets, processes and procedures required to underpin the solution.
• Contribute to the development of PKI Architectures, High and Low Level Designs, specific Local Work Instructions, Processes & Procedures whilst meeting relevant industry security standards and controls.
• Contribute to the Technical assurance and operation of solutions, from a cryptographic perspective, to ensure security is maintained.
• Accountable for the delivery of all agreed customer contract deliverables, within the security constraints of the project.
• Provide cryptographic support for ALL BT managed devices.
• Ensure Designs are Deployed and Implemented diligently with fully Auditable controls.
• Be conversant with the latest security cryptography standards and controls.
• Guide and coach Delivery and Operational Teams during the delivery of the Solution.
• Bring to resolution cross tower technical incidents and issues.

You\'ll definitely:

• Come from a mathematical or computer science background, either at University or in Industry.
• Have some basic understanding of relevant PKI & Crypto skills, and demonstrate the capability to learn.
• Have some Network Security knowledge.
• Have some \xe2\x80\x9cHands-on\xe2\x80\x9d skills with Operating systems and scripting languages.
• Have experience of developing solutions; preferably in a security context .
• Be capable of running small scale security transformation programmes with an understanding of transformation principles
• Understand the importance of Orchestration & Automation Tools in a solution.
• Create coherent designs from the capture and agreement of customer requirements.
• Use your initiative and be comfortable working with changing requirements.
• Be self-motivated and proactive.
• Be comfortable challenging and working to stringent deadlines.
• Have an enquiring mind, thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn.

You might even:

• Hold, or be working towards, an Industry recognised Technical Security certification.
• Understand the business impact of poor cryptographic service design and operations on organisational performance and brand
• Understand the lifecycle of a Key and a Certificate
• Understand the importance of a Hardware Security Module (HSM) in a PKI solution
• Have some knowledge of SIEM products, deployment and usage
• Have some knowledge of Firewall products, deployment and usage
