YuMe World are open in Durham and

we're looking for staff to join us

. We have the newest gaming and entertainment technology, ranging from video games to virtual reality simulators. Not heard of us? Check out our current open location in The Gate, Newcastle!

We're looking for Crew Members who ensure customers have the best experience possible during their YuMe visit.

Your days will vary between working within the arcade or the desserts restaurant.

The Role

Entertainment Centre:

Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering their queries and providing product knowledge - all with a positive, friendly attitude Walking the floor Regular housekeeping to ensure the floor and machines are kept clean and hygienic Helping customers top-up payment cards & redeem prizes Ad hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor on shift

Desserts:

Greeting customers and taking their order accurately with a positive, friendly attitude Answer any questions about the menu and make recommendations Ensure orders are correct and take action to correct any problems Take payment from customers and ensure receipts are kept in the till Ensuring the restaurant is clean and hygienic at all times Ad hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor on shift

About You

Positive and friendly attitude at all times Excellent customer service skills, ability to build a rapport with customers and ensure they have the best visit possible Good product knowledge of the games, machines, prizes and menu - training will be provided A hands-on can-do approach, with the ability to work well within a team Ethical and trustworthy - working with cash and young customers Ability to problem solve, keeping the needs of the customer and business in mind

Hours / Pay:

Rota shift patterns covering Mon-Sun, 10am - 10pm Part-time 10 to 12.21 per hour 28 days holiday Unlimited access to games
